Welcome to Kaneland Community Unit School District No. 302, a large, growing and changing school district. Our website provides you with general information about our schools and many people who administer and support them. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)

 

Public Act 96-0542, the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requires public bodies to make public records available to anyone for inspection or copying.  There are certain exemptions (exclusions) allowed in the Act. 

Kaneland District #302 has appointed two FOIA officers.  Please direct any FOIA inquiry to the attention of:

 

          Dr. Jeff Schuler, Superintendent, or

          Dr. Julie-Ann Fuchs, Assistant Superintendent for Business

 
To Request Information under the FOIA from Kaneland District #302:

 

1.    Print the District #302 FOIA Request Form.

2.    Complete and sign your FOIA Request Form.

3.    Submit your completed FOIA Request Form in one of the following ways:

a.    Fax the form to (630) 365-9428, or

b.    Mail or deliver the form to 47W326 Keslinger Road, Maple Park, IL 60151.

 

The Act requires all FOIA requests to be answered within five (5) business days.

Administrative Salary Compensation Report

Public Act 96-0434 requires all School Districts to post on their website the salaries of all employees in the District holding an administrative certificate and working in that capacity.  The salary compensation report must include base salary, contributions to TRS, the cost of health insurance and life insurance, any paid vacation and sick day payouts, annuities, and any other compensation provided by the District.  The salary compensation report was presented at the August 29, 2011 Board of Education meeting.
