Welcome to KHS

Kaneland High School is a comprehensive high school grades 9-12 located outside of Maple Park, Illinois in western Kane County. Our school provides a thriving, nurturing, positive learning experience for its students. As our student enrollment grows so does the opportunities and experiences available to them.

The mission of Kaneland High School is to graduate students who possess the knowledge, skills, and values to be life-long learners, to contribute to our democratic society, and successfully participate in the workplace, accomplished through a partnership with parents, students, educational staff and the resources of our Kaneland Community.

We are committed to provide the educational opportunities, which will allow each student to explore, to learn, to develop new friendships, to participate in a variety of activities and to discover the potential that exists within them. It is our hope that all students will take advantage of what is available to them so that they may develop the confidence, knowledge and courage to face life's challenges with success. It is based upon this premise that student involvement will open doors to a rich and rewarding future. Kaneland is a North Central Accreditated high school in the growing western portion of Kane County. The curriculum and activities offered at Kaneland provide each student with the opportunity to discover their potential.

In the past five years we have added over fifty new courses to our curriculum. In the fall of 1999 we successfully implemented a 4-Block schedule, which provides each student with the opportunity to earn 32 credits during their high school career.
