Seven Kaneland High School choral students are selected to perform in the District IX Music Festival.

After an intensive audition process, seven Kaneland High School Choral students attained an audition score high enough to place them in the District IX festival chorus. District IX includes almost sixty schools with schools such as Nequa Valley, St. Charles , Naperville, Glenbard, Aurora, Oswego, Plainfield and many other schools with very strong music programs.

This is quite an honor for our students, and they will be participating in the District IX music festival being held at Wheaton Warrenville South High School on Saturday, November 19, 2011.

The students who were selected were sophomore Matt Alfrey, Juniors Tucker Debolt, Katie Kenkel, Alec Kovach, and seniors Eric Eichelberger, Anna Novotny and Jake Rosko.

Congratulations to all the students who auditioned and represented Kaneland so well.
