The KHS Madrigal Singers will be selling White Sox tickets at a reduced price to help raise funds for their upcoming performance tour of Northern England and Scotland. In an effort to offset the increase in airline ticket price for our upcoming tour, the students will be selling tickets to the 7:10 PM White Sox vs. Kansas City Royals game on Friday, May 11, 2012. Seven Kaneland High School choral students are selected to perform in the District IX Music Festival.

After an intensive audition process, seven Kaneland High School Choral students attained an audition score high enough to place them in the District IX festival chorus. District IX includes almost sixty schools with schools such as Nequa Valley, St. Charles , Naperville, Glenbard, Aurora, Oswego, Plainfield and many other schools with very strong music programs. Kaneland High School Choral students Participate in two seperate fall performances!

Kaneland High School's annual fall choral concert will be held at the Kaneland High School Auditorium on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 7:00 PM. Come to see KHS's Treble Choir, Mixed Choir and Madrigals perform on the first concert of the year.

On Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 8:00 PM KHS's Concert Choir students will join together with Northern Illinois University's Concert Choir and Philharmonic orchestra as they perform Ralph Vaughn William's Dona Nobis Pacem. This forty minute work will be performed at NIU's Boutell Memorial Concert Hall inside the Music Building.

Please join us for what will be two moving and enjoyable concerts. Admission is free, and the seating is general admission (first come first served).

Kaneland High School Spring Choral Concert!!!

Kaneland High School's annual spring choral concert will be held at the Kaneland High School Auditorium on Wednesday, May 18th at 7:00 PM. Come to see each of the high school choirs perform on the last concert of the year. This year's concert will include the Mixed Choir, Sophomore Girls Choir, Kolla Voce (Men's Choir), Madrigals, Concert Choir and senior solos. The senior solos will be performed by Kendall Renaud, Samantha Vazquez, Eric Quigley, Sarah Morgan, Joey Kenkel, Keara Palpant and Mackenzie Curran.

Please join us for what will be a moving and enjoyable concert. Admission is free, and the seating is general admission (first come first served).

Saturday evening's Madrigal performance is now sold out!!!

The 7:00 performance of the Madrigal dinner on Saturday, December 11th is now sold out. While tickets are going very quickly, there is still time to get your order in for the other performances. At this time there is limited seating available for the Friday, December 10th 7:00 performance (app. 30 seats), and the Sunday, December 12th 2:00 performance (app. 45 seats).

Be sure to get your ticket order in as soon as possible to be a part of this years Madrigal celebration. This year marks the 33rd year of the annual holiday tradition. Five Kaneland Singers Selected to represent Kaneland in Regional Honors Choir

Kaneland is proud to announce that five singers from KHS have been selected to perform in the ACDA Central Region High School Honors Choir. ACDA stands for American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). The ACDA Central Region conference will be held in Cincinnatti this year from February 24th through February 27th. More »
