Troops receive cards

Here is a copy of an email sent to KHS for the Holiday Cards our students sent to the troops in Afghanistan. Joanna, I sent out a e-mail before but not sure if you received it or not. We did receive the Christmas cards from the students and on behalf of all my Marines, I would like to thank the students and faculty for your warm thoughts over the holiday season. We made the best of it being deployed in Afghanistan and everyone looks forward to coming back home next month. Being away from family isn't easy but it's all worth the price serving our great nation and protecting the freedoms and rights we enjoy day to day. Not the first time I've deployed to a third world country but as in the past, it's a true eye opener to how good we actually have it back in the states. Respectfully Submitted, MGYSGT SCOTT A.
