Season Opener on Monday, Oct. 29

The 2012 edition of the Harter Middle School Wrestling squad will be unveiled on Monday, October 29 in a home meet with Aurora Jewel. The meet is scheduled to begin around 4:15 and this year's squad appears to be very talented albeit a little on the young side. Please consider supporting the Knights as they begin their season!

The ordering and payment is completely online and the only thing the players will be asked to do is bring the merchandise home that you order. Parent Meeting

There will be a meeting for all parents of middle school wrestlers on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 5:30 p.m. in the South Gym. This is a mandatory meeting and will allow you the opportunity to formally meet the wrestling coaches, and provide a venue for the coaches to explain the rules and expectations for the athletes.

Wrestling Begins Oct. 15

Wrestling will begin for all athletes in Grades 6, 7, and 8 on Monday. Oct. 15. Athletes are reminded they must have a current physical on file as well as a current insurance waiver on file in order to tryout. Athletes that participated in a fall sport will have already provided a copy of their physical and can disregard this request. Parents are reminded that the player bus no longer exists so you will need to arrange for pickup after practice. Consider making those carpools sooner rather than later. Athletes will be expected to pay an $120 athletic fee.

Parent Survey Available Online

Parents of Harter Middle School students who have completed a fall, or winter sport are encouraged to complete a survey which can be found on the school's home page. The survey is available in Google Docs, and will allow the Athletic Department to improve it's program and help our coaches improve and continue to provide a positive experience for our students. The link is on the school's homepage and on the right side of the page, clearly in the middle.
